Some people think they can’t wear certain things because of their body type, so they never try them on. As a stylist, I love encouraging my clients to be open to something they wouldn’t have considered before, and they’re often pleasantly surprised.
To dress for an apple body type, where your top half is wider than your bottom, wear flared or wide pants instead of straight-leg or skinny jeans to help balance out your figure.
If you have a pear body type, where your lower half is bigger than your upper body, wear straight-leg pants and tops that accentuate your shoulders.
